Accounts Payable (P2P) Operations - Transition & Transformation

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable / Procure-to-Pay operations, including invoice processing, vendor management, payment processing, reconciliations, query resolution, and month-end activities.
• Drive and support transition of AP/P2P processes from client/onshore locations to shared service or offshore delivery centers.
• Participate in transition activities including knowledge transfer, process documentation, SOP creation, shadow/reverse-shadow sessions, testing, go-live and stabilization.
• Identify opportunities for process transformation, standardization, automation and continuous improvement across AP/P2P operations.
• Lead initiatives around process optimization, productivity improvement, SLA adherence, controls and operational excellence.
• Perform process assessments, identify gaps and develop As-Is / To-Be processes.
• Work with business and technology teams to implement automation and digital solutions such as RPA, workflow automation and intelligent invoice processing.
• Track operational metrics including SLAs, KPIs, ageing, invoice turnaround time, payment accuracy, exception rates and productivity.
• Manage client/business stakeholders during transition, transformation and BAU operations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements and AP policies.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Accounts Payable / Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
• Hands-on AP/P2P operations experience
• Experience in Transition / Migration / Knowledge Transfer
• Experience in Transformation / Process Improvement / Automation
• Strong knowledge of:
• Invoice Processing
• Vendor Management
• Payments
• Vendor Reconciliation
• GR/IR
• AP Month-End
• SLA/KPI Management
• Exposure to SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa or similar ERP/P2P platforms
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, RPA, Power Automate, UiPath or process improvement methodologies is desirable.
• Strong stakeholder/client management and project management capabilities.
