Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Executive to manage supplier-related accounting activities, payments, reconciliations, cash handling, and other finance operations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in accounts payable processes and a good understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, inventory verification, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain KYC and documentation of suppliers, ensuring all required records are complete and updated.
• Process and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
• Manage supplier payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing in line with company policies.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain appropriate records and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and conduct physical verification of stock and reconcile physical stock with accounting records.
• Manage prepaid account postings and reconciliations, ensuring accurate accounting treatment.
• Maintain and reconcile staff loans and advances, including follow-up on outstanding balances.
• Ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements and support timely submission of relevant reports and documentation.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents for audit and compliance purposes.
• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, banks, and other stakeholders as required.
• Identify discrepancies, follow up on outstanding items, and ensure timely resolution.
• Support the Finance team with other accounting and reporting activities as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable, Finance, Accounting, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience in supplier accounting, payments, reconciliations, and financial documentation.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and internal financial controls.
• Experience in handling cash and bank-related transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple finance activities effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems will be an advantage.

Preferred Profile
