Accounts Payable Executive

Job Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices in SAP and ensure timely payment processing.
• Match supplier invoices with Purchase Orders (POs), Goods Receipts (GRs), and Service Entry Sheets (SES).
• Verify invoice details, supporting documents, and applicable tax codes, including WHT and TCS.
• Handle PO and Non-PO invoice processing as per company policies and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure all invoices and supporting documents are properly attached to the respective SAP postings.
• Follow up with business teams for pending invoices, missing documents, and approvals.
• Monitor vendor accounts, open advances, and GRIR ageing, and follow up on outstanding items.
• Ensure timely clearing of GRIR accrual accounts as per company procedures.
• Prepare and distribute monthly reports related to open advances and GRIR ageing.
• Support internal and external audits by providing relevant accounting schedules and supporting documents.
• Follow internal controls and ensure accuracy and quality in invoice processing.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Good hands-on knowledge of SAP is mandatory.
• Practical experience in Accounts Payable and vendor invoice processing.
• Knowledge of PO/Non-PO invoices, GRIR, WHT, and TCS.
• Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with finance and business teams.

Education: B.Com. graduate with 23 years of post-qualification experience.
