Role Overview

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Executive to manage day-to-day accounts payable operations, vendor accounting, invoice processing, reconciliations and payment-related activities. The candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally or an ERP system and a sound understanding of GST, TDS, GRN booking and three-way matching.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable and vendor accounting activities.
• Verify, process and post purchase invoices in Tally or the applicable ERP system.
• Perform GRN booking and PO–GRN–Invoice three-way matching.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure the timely clearance of unreconciled items.
• Reconcile vendor ledgers and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure the correct accounting treatment of GST and TDS on vendor invoices.
• Assist in processing vendor payments and ensuring timely payment execution.
• Prepare and review vendor ageing and outstanding reports.
• Support monthly closing and accounts payable reporting activities.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Operations and vendors to resolve invoice, purchase order and GRN-related issues.
• Maintain accurate supporting documents and records for audits and internal reviews.
• Follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely invoice processing and closure of open items.

Candidate Profile

• B.Com or M.Com from a recognised institution.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounts payable, vendor accounting or a similar finance role.
• Hands-on experience with Tally or another ERP/accounting system.
• Practical knowledge of purchase posting, GRN booking, three-way matching and bank reconciliation.
• Good understanding of GST and TDS provisions applicable to vendor invoices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Strong reconciliation, numerical and analytical skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder-coordination abilities.
• Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work accurately within defined timelines and monthly closing schedules.
