Accounts Payable Associate

Role & responsibilities

1. 1. Process accounts payable transactions in accordance with CURIA Global Accounting Policies # 7, Payables, Accruals and Other Liabilities. Processing includes voucher keying, working with scanning software for input (AP Express or other form of automation), assisting in check run preparation, ACH and wire payment processing. Maintain organized vendor files and related accounts payable information.
2. Process and communicate with vendors and CURIA employees on payment status, statement reconciliation and issues in a timely and consistent professional manner.
3. Assist with month end closed such as accrual preparation. Works closely with site finance and purchasing departments.
4. Create reports or produce other informational data requested by the Supervisor, Site Controllers/Finance leads and other members of the department.
5. Support audit requests for information. Audits represent external, tax and various government agencies or customers.
6. Provide assistance to all departments for vendor and invoice inquiries.
7. Perform other duties as may be assigned in the course of business.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.COM or any other Graduate degree in Accounting or equivalent experience;
• 1-2 years of accounting experience accounts payable high-volume processing
• Enterprise software experience required, SAP experience is must
• Experience with invoice processing for European countries is essential.
