Accounts Officer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Oversee day-to-day accounting transactions (Journal Entries, Ledger Scrutiny, Bank Reconciliation)
• Maintain accounts payable & receivable, ensuring timely vendor payments and collections
• Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement)
• Monitor costing, budgets, and variance analysis for construction projects

2. Statutory Audit & Compliance

• Coordinate with auditors for statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for audit requirements
• Assist in preparing schedules and reconciliations for audits

3. Other Compliance

• Handle contractor & sub-contractor payments in compliance with taxation laws
• Ensure compliance with ROC filings & other statutory obligations

Required Qualifications & Skills:

1. Education: CA Inter / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / B.Com with relevant experience
2. Experience: 4-8 years in accounting, preferably in the construction industry
3. Software Skills: Tally ERP, SAP, MS Excel, GST & TDS filing portals
4. Key Skills: Taxation, Auditing, Financial Reporting, Cost Control

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Banking & Loan Documentation for construction projects
