Accounts Officer – US Accounting | NetSuite ERP | Night Shift | Remote

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank transactions, and reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Process accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, intercompany entries, and balance-sheet schedules.
• Prepare bank, credit-card, vendor, customer, and general-ledger reconciliations.
• Investigate accounting discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
• Process invoices, payments, receipts, credit notes, and expense transactions.
• Prepare trial balance, profit and loss statement, balance sheet, cash-flow schedules, and management reports.
• Use NetSuite ERP for transaction processing, account reconciliations, saved searches, financial reports, and period-close activities.
• Coordinate with US-based clients and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and obtain required accounting information.
• Maintain process documentation, checklists, working papers, and audit-ready supporting records.
• Follow internal controls, client processes, confidentiality requirements, and agreed timelines.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation

Job Requirements :

• Hands-on experience using NetSuite financial modules.
• Experience processing accounting transactions in NetSuite.
• Ability to extract and interpret financial reports, saved searches, and transaction-level information.
• Exposure to chart of accounts, vendor and customer records, journal approvals, bank reconciliation, and accounting period close.
• Ability to identify basic posting, mapping, classification, and reconciliation issues.
