Accounts Manager with a Leading Film Production

Role & responsibilities :

1. Accounts & Financial Operations

• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Process vendor payments and track collections
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, and transactions
• Handle day-to-day accounting entries

2. Reconciliation & Reporting

• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger matching
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports
• Assist in monthly and annual closing processes
• Support preparation of balance sheets, P&L, and financial statements

3. Taxation & Compliance

• Work on GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance
• Assist in reviewing expenses, payroll, and financial records
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

4. Invoicing & Documentation

• Prepare sales invoices as per contractual terms
• Maintain financial data in systems for accuracy and accessibility
• Draft client communication and financial documents as required

5. General Accounting Support

• Handle petty cash management
• Assist with payroll processing
• Support senior accountant on ongoing projects
• Coordinate with internal teams for financial data and updates

Preferred candidate profile :

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Commerce (B. Com)
• Minimum 5 to 10 year ofs experience in accounting or finance

Strong knowledge of:

• GST, TDS, Income Tax basics
• Balance Sheet & P&L preparation
• Proficiency in:
• Tally ERP 9
• MS Excel
• Familiarity with online banking (NEFT, RTGS, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills (written & verbal English)
