Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Accounts Head to manage and oversee the complete accounting and financial operations of the organization. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in the Insurance industry and the ability to work efficiently in a startup and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting and financial operations.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, budgets, and financial forecasts.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, reconciliations, and cash flow management.
• Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Develop and implement financial policies, processes, and internal controls.
• Monitor financial performance and provide strategic financial insights to management.
• Manage budgeting, cost control, financial planning, and expense optimization.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and applicable financial regulations.
• Lead and manage the accounts and finance team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• CA / MBA Finance / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
• 8–15 years of relevant experience in Accounts and Finance.
• Insurance industry experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, GST, TDS, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Presentable and professional personality.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working in a startup and fast-paced environment.
