Accounts & Finance Executive

We are looking for a proactive Accounts and Finance Executive to join Verve Advisory. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of our daily accounting workflows, billing, and statutory compliance tracking. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy, streamline process automation, and maintain robust corporate compliance.

The core responsibilities for the job include the following:

Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Core Accounting:

• Order-to-Cash Workflow: Manage day-to-day invoicing, track billing milestones, apply accurate GST, and handle ledger/bank account reconciliations.
• Collection Management: Track Accounts Receivable (AR) aging schedules, conduct professional follow-ups on outstanding payments, and clear payment discrepancies.
• Financial Closing: Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, supporting financial reporting and variance analysis (budget vs. actuals).

Statutory and Corporate Compliance:

• Taxation and Filings: Coordinate with consultants to prepare and file returns for GST, TDS, Professional Tax (PT), and Provident Fund (PF) on time.
• ROC Compliance: Support ROC filings, maintain statutory registers, and ensure proper documentation for annual corporate compliance.
• Audit Support: Assist internal and external auditors during tax and statutory compliance audits.

Automation and Process Improvement:

• Leverage AI and Automation: Use modern tools (e. g., AI/ChatGPT, Power BI) and advanced Excel functions to build automated trackers, reconciliations, and reporting dashboards.
• Process Efficiency: Support the implementation of digital workflows to enhance data precision and internal controls.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in corporate accounting, billing, AR, or compliance execution.
• Education: B. Com / M. Com / CA aspirants or dropouts looking for practical corporate experience.

Technical Proficiency:

• Accounting Software: Tally, Zoho Books.
• Data and Automation: Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables); basic familiarity with AI productivity tools or Power BI is a plus.
• Compliance Knowledge: Practical understanding of GST, TDS, PF, PT, and basic ROC workflows.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for managing client finance desks and internal stakeholders.
