Accounts Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and accounting records.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
• regular reconciliation of GSTR-2B/2A with purchase registers to maximize Input Tax Credit (ITC) claim accuracy.
• Maintain general ledgers, process accounts payable/receivable, and verify vendor invoices
• Prepare bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities when required.
• Generate financial reports and MIS statements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce B. Com, M. Com inter CA Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 27 years of core accounting experience in Manufacturing Company having turnover 60-150 crores, with at least 25 years focused heavily on GST compliance.
• Strong knowledge of GST return filing, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in accounting software like Tally Prime, SAP, alongside advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Understanding of CGST, SGST, IGST, Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM), and ITC rules.
