About this role
- Process vendor invoices, bills and expense claims accurately and ensure timely payments.
- Verify invoices against purchase orders, goods receipt notes and supporting documents.
- Perform vendor account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in coordination with vendors and internal departments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable GST, TDS and other statutory requirements related to vendor payments.
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice booking, payment processing and ledger maintenance.
- Coordinate with procurement, stores and other departments for invoice verification and payment approvals.
- Prepare vendor payment schedules and ensure payments are released within agreed credit terms.
- Monitor outstanding payables, vendor advances, debit notes and pending invoices.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including provisions, reconciliations and reporting.
- Assist with internal and statutory audits by providing relevant invoices, payment records, reconciliations and supporting documents.
