Accounts Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Handle accounting and bookkeeping activities for multiple clients.
• Prepare, maintain and review books of accounts, ledgers and financial records.
• Assist with GST, TDS, income tax returns and other statutory compliance work.
• Prepare and reconcile financial information required for taxation and audit assignments.
• Coordinate with clients for accounting records, supporting documents and compliance requirements.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and other reports, based on experience.
• Identify discrepancies, resolve routine accounting issues and escalate complex matters when required.
• Manage assigned client work independently, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

Preferred candidate profile

13 years of practical experience in a CA firm is mandatory.

• Hands-on experience in client accounting, bookkeeping and ledger maintenance.
• Knowledge of bank reconciliation, financial statements and accounting review.
• Exposure to GST, TDS, income tax and audit-related assignments.
• Proficiency in Tally and Excel.
• Ability to independently handle assigned client work, coordinate for documents and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, accountability and willingness to learn.
