Accounts Executive

Apple Edibles and Logistics Pvt Ltd. (www.appleedibles.com) is in the process of food processing & manufacturing. It has setup its new factory at Khopoli near Mumbai. Apple Edibles and Logistics Pvt Ltd. is the owner of Euforia (www.euforiapasta.com) and Firo (www.firofoods.com).

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting, billing, inventory accounting, and compliance for our Mumbai office and associated factory/warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Tally, GST and FMCG distribution accounting, and be comfortable working closely with sales, operations, and logistics teams.

Role Description

• Record daily transactions in Tally / Focus (sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries).
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger, sundry debtors/creditors, and bank accounts (BRS).
• Manage accounts receivable: raise invoices, track collections, follow up with distributors, modern-trade, and e-commerce/quick-commerce platforms
• Manage accounts payable: process vendor bills, factory expenses, packaging material purchases, and coordinate payment cycles.
• Ensure accurate GST-compliant invoicing for all channels (distributors, modern trade, e-commerce, exports if applicable).
• Coordinate with warehouse/factory for stock records, GRN, and dispatch documents; ensure accounting matches physical stock movement.
• Support basic inventory valuation and costing inputs for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods (pasta, kids foods, etc.).
• Track scheme/discount accounting, credit notes, debit notes, and promotional expenses as per trade terms.
• Assist in monthly/quarterly GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and coordinate with external CA for final returns and audits.
• Ensure timely TDS deduction, payment, and filing; maintain TDS certificates and working papers.
• Support PF/ESIC compliance coordination for factory/office staff (liaison with HR/CA as needed).
• Prepare routine MIS reports: daily/weekly sales vs collection, outstanding ageing, expense summaries, and cash-flow updates for management.
• Support internal and statutory audits, provide documents, and implement audit suggestions
• Work closely with sales, distribution, and quick-commerce teams to resolve billing/collection issues and reconcile platform settlements (e.g., Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, Amazon, etc.).
• Coordinate with banks, vendors, customers, and CA for smooth financial operations.
• Help improve accounting processes, templates, and trackers in Excel/Tally to reduce errors and turnaround time.

Requirements

• B.Com / M.Com / BBI / BAF (Commerce background essential)
• Proficiency in Tally, GST, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial work
• 1–4 years of experience in an accounts role, preferably in FMCG, food manufacturing, distribution, or trading
• Prior experience handling GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and debtor/creditor management is required
• Good command of MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas, reports)
• Understanding of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance
• Ability to handle high-volume transactions with accuracy and meet monthly closing deadlines
• Office-based role in Mumbai with occasional visits to factory/warehouse for stock and process alignment
• Regular working hours with extra effort during month-end/quarter-end closing and audit periods
