About this role
Job Description:
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Handle accounting transactions using Zoho Books.
- Manage sales, purchase, invoices, expenses, receipts, and payments.
- Perform bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
- Handle statutory like GST, TDS, and other basic accounting compliances.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents.
- Assist in monthly closing, reporting, and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for accounting-related matters.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles, statutory like GST, TDS, and Bank reconciliations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

As part of its initial efforts, Cornext successfully implemented a baled silage project under a Public Private Partnership (PPP) with the Government of Andhra Pradesh between 2015-19 and quickly realized the importance of decentralized production to reduce logistics costs while ensuring access for marginal farmers, a key component of the Indian dairy farming community. Cornext's mini silage balers, which cost less than one-tenth of a European baler, allowed Cornext to build an ecosystem of rural fodder entrepreneurs with over 500 baling units to date.
Additionally, Cornext is the only company in India that not only manufactures machinery but also produces baled silage using its own machinery, enabling an active research and development and testing process. Having supplied millions of tons of silage to numerous institutions and dairy farms, Cornext has become India's leading supplier of baled silage.
Some of Cornext's clients include Milma (Kerala), Amul, Banas and Sumul Dairy (Gujarat), KMF (Karnataka), Sanchi (Madhya Pradesh), Godrej Maximilk, Animal Husbandry Departments (AHDs) of Andhra Pradesh, UP, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Assam and several other government bodies.
