Accounts Executive (WFH)

Job Summary

The role is primarily focused on basic day-to-day accounting activities. The candidate will work closely with the Accounts Manager and will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records and entering routine financial transactions.

This is a Work From Home position, so prior remote-working experience and a professional home working setup are important.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle basic day-to-day accounting entries
• Record purchase entries
• Record sales entries
• Record and maintain bank entries
• Maintain accounting records and ledgers accurately
• Ensure transactions are entered correctly and on time
• Maintain invoices, bills, and supporting accounting documents
• Coordinate with the Accounts Manager regarding accounting entries and requirements
• Follow the accounting processes and instructions provided by the Accounts Manager

Note: This role is primarily focused on basic accounting entries and does not require extensive finalization, taxation, or complex accounting responsibilities.

Must-Have Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Minimum 6 months of prior Work From Home experience
• Prior hands-on experience with QuickBooks is mandatory
• Practical experience with basic:
  • Purchase entries
  • Sales entries
  • Bank entries
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles
• Good English verbal communication skills
• Good laptop/computer setup suitable for full-time work
• Reliable and stable internet connection
• A quiet and disturbance-free workspace at home
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
