Accounts Executive-Senior

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Accounts Executive with 12 years of experience gained in an audit firm or CA firm, and a strong working knowledge of accounting, audit, and taxation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable handling both individual and corporate tax matters independently.

Role & Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping in compliance with statutory requirements
• Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits, including preparation of audit working papers
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns) and handle GST reconciliations
• Manage income tax computation, TDS, and return filing for both individual and corporate clients
• Support finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to resolve queries and ensure timely compliance
• Maintain accurate records using MS Excel and accounting software

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an audit/CA firm
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, GST, and taxation (individual and corporate)
• Hands-on experience in statutory/tax audits
• Decent working knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, basic data handling)
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently
• Qualification: B.Com (mandatory); M.Com / Inter CA / CMA-Inter preferred
