Accounts Executive Revenue Reconciliation & Bank Reconciliation

Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to handle revenue reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and accounting activities using SAP. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of revenue collections, bank transactions, and accounting records by identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily revenue reconciliation between operational/billing systems, payment gateways, bank statements, and SAP accounting records.
• Reconcile collections received through UPI, credit/debit cards, payment gateways, EMI partners, and other payment modes.
• Prepare and maintain daily and monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
• Identify and resolve differences arising from timing differences, bank charges, short/excess receipts, refunds, and unaccounted transactions.
• Verify bank credits against collection reports and ensure proper accounting entries are recorded in SAP.
• Investigate unmatched or unidentified receipts and coordinate with internal teams, banks, and payment service providers for resolution.
• Reconcile payment gateway settlements and track pending settlements, failed transactions, and refund transactions.
• Pass and verify necessary accounting entries and Journal Vouchers (JVs) in SAP.
• Monitor outstanding reconciliation items and ensure timely clearance of long-pending differences.
• Maintain proper reconciliation workings, supporting documents, and audit trails.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to revenue and bank reconciliations.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Hands-on experience in revenue reconciliation and Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
• Practical working knowledge of SAP is mandatory; Tally experience alone will not be sufficient.
• Understanding of bank transactions, digital collections, payment gateway settlements, and accounting entries.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, and other reconciliation formulas.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve reconciliation differences.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage daily reconciliation activities and meet reporting deadlines.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com)
• M.Com will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 2- 5 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Experience in revenue reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and SAP-based accounting is preferred.
• Experience handling high-volume transactions, multiple payment modes, or multi-location business operations will be an added advantage.
