About this role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Assistant to support day-to-day accounting operations. The role involves maintaining financial records, assisting with billing and reconciliations, and supporting GST, TDS, and other accounting-related activities while ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial documentation.
- Assist in accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, bills, and payment records.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related work.
- Support monthly closing and preparation of basic financial reports.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments for accounting-related requirements.
Requirements
- Experience: Min 2-4 years
- Graduate in B.Com / M.Com or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, GST and TDS.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Experience with Tally/ERP software will be an advantage.
- Good communication, numerical and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
