Accounts Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support day-to-day accounting and administrative operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Tally, MS Excel, GST documentation, MIS reporting, and accounts administration.

The role involves maintaining purchase and sales records, coordinating with CA/GST consultants, handling creditor and debtor follow-ups, and managing stock-related records.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Enter purchase bills, sales bills, cash vouchers, and other accounting entries in Tally.
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports as required by management.
• Coordinate and provide accounting data to the GST Consultant and Chartered Accountant.
• Handle day-to-day administrative and documentation activities.
• Follow up with creditors and collect outstanding bills from debtors.
• Maintain stock records and update inventory details.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting documents and vouchers.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: B.Com (Mandatory).
• Experience: 2 - 3 years in a similar accounting role.
• Working knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and MS Word.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Knowledge of GST and Income Tax will be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with management, vendors, and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of responsibilities.
