To lead and manage the Company's day-to-day financial accounting, controllership, MIS functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, robust internal controls and full statutory and regulatory compliance. taking complete ownership of all routine accounting activities so that the CFO is freed to focus on strategic priorities. Further he should also be responsible for SAP development. The incumbent will be responsible for building a strong, well-controlled Accounting function capable of supporting the Company's transition to a professionally managed, listed-company standard of governance and reporting.

Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 5 plus years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting, controllership, taxation and financial reporting, including at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role managing a multi-location finance and accounts team.

Demonstrated expertise in monthly/quarterly/annual book closure, Ind AS-compliant financial statements, direct and indirect tax compliance (Income Tax, GST, TDS, Transfer Pricing), statutory, internal, tax and cost audits, MIS reporting. Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP FICO preferred). Experience in a manufacturing organization preparing for or undergoing IPO, strengthening internal financial controls (IFC) and institutionalizing governance and reporting standards will be highly preferred.

Team Leadership

Lead monthly, quarterly and annual book closure activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial statements.

Ensure financial statements are prepared in full compliance with Ind AS and applicable accounting standards. Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all direct and indirect tax laws, including Income Tax, GST, TDS and Transfer Pricing.

Oversee tax assessments, tax planning, litigation support and liaison with tax consultants and authorities. Coordinate and drive closure of statutory audit, internal audit, tax audit and cost audit within agreed timelines.

Strengthen internal financial controls (IFC), SOPs and financial governance across the organization. Prepare accurate and timely monthly MIS, budget vs. actual analysis and financial dashboards for the CFO and Management.

Support Board and investor reporting packs as required, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Drive effective use and continuous improvement of SAP FICO / ERP systems for accounting and reporting processes.

Lead digitization and automation initiatives to improve accuracy, speed and control of finance operations. Lead, mentor and develop the Accounts, Taxation, Treasury and MIS teams, building a strong and capable finance function.

Act as the CFO's principal deputy, taking ownership of all routine accounting and controllership matters so the CFO can focus on IPO readiness, capital markets and strategic priorities. Lead, supervise and allocate work across the Accounts, Taxation, Treasury and MIS teams.

Conduct performance reviews, recommend hiring, training, development and disciplinary actions within delegated authority. Recommend and manage the Finance & Accounts department budget within approved limits.

Approve routine accounting, tax and treasury transactions and payments within delegated financial authority limits. Approve financial statements, MIS reports and reconciliations prior to CFO review.

Approve routine banking transactions, tax filings and audit responses within delegated authority. Ensure statutory, tax and regulatory compliance across all finance operations.

Escalate material compliance, control or reporting risks to the CFO on a timely basis.
