Accounts and Audit Manager

About the Role

HomeFirst Finance Company is hiring a Manager – Accounts & Audit to manage accounting activities, support period-end closure, strengthen internal controls, and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role is ideal for professionals with 2–4 years of experience in Accounting & Finance, with hands-on exposure to GL, month-end/year-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and Ind AS.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting and support finalization and closure of books of accounts.
• Oversee bookkeeping processes and ensure effective internal controls.
• Manage period-close activities including GL scrutiny, journal entries, accruals, provisioning, invoicing, and reconciliations.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of financial transactions and reporting.
• Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, audits, and reviews.
• Perform GL reviews and analyze Balance Sheet and P&L movements.
• Prepare Ind AS workings, including ECL, EIR, and securitisation.
• Support audit requirements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 2–4 years of experience in Accounting & Finance
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience or working knowledge of Ind AS
• Hands-on experience with General Ledger functions and month-end/year-end closing
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Ability to multitask and take on additional responsibilities
