Accounting Specialist

Experience: 2-5 Years

Location: Mumbai (Lower Parel)

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Indian/Domestic accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice processing and vendor payments.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), invoicing, collections, and customer reconciliations.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and GL reconciliations.
• Support GST compliance, return preparation, and GST reconciliations.
• Execute month-end closing activities, accruals, and journal entries.
• Maintain financial records and generate MIS reports.
• Work on Zoho Books and support audit/compliance requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2-5 years of experience in end-to-end accounting.
• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, GST, and reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Proficient in Zoho Books and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with multiple clients/entities is preferred.
• Candidates from Consulting Firms or Accounting Outsourcing backgrounds preferred.
• B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or equivalent qualification.
