Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS, IAS).
• Manage and mentor the accounting team, delegate tasks, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist in creating, managing, and monitoring budgets, providing variance analysis to leadership.
• Develop and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure the availability of accurate and timely information.
• Oversee tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and systems to improve efficiency.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Manage accounting software and ERP systems to optimize financial processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, MBA, CA, CA Inter.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in accounting or finance, including supervisory/team handling experience.
• Candidates with experience in Manufacturing Industries and Import/Export companies will be highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, ERP systems, GAAP, and IFRS.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
