The Accounting Manager will be responsible for accounting documentation over a variety of areas and support external reporting requirements. This role will entail overseeing the monthly/quarterly close process and ensuring accurate and timely deliverables are prepared. In addition, the role will have the opportunity to research technical accounting guidance and prepare technical memos. In addition, the candidate will develop strong working relationships with cross-functional partners and various levels of management.
What youll be doing
- Manage Ledger Close Process: Oversee the accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger close process, including the review of journal entries, reconciliations, and close deliverables.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly reporting flux analysis and review deliverables supporting consolidated financial statements and footnotes. Research and analyze complex accounting issues, providing recommendations to management for proper accounting treatment and potential financial statement impact.
- Process Improvements: Develop and implement process improvements, lead automation initiatives, and maintain standard operating procedures.
- Audit Support: Support both external and internal audit requirements related to areas of responsibility.
- Leadership Support and Customer Service: Lead special projects and provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis for leadership. Deliver best-in-class customer service to internal stakeholders.

- Chartered Accountant, with strong background in US GAAP, SEC regulations, internal controls
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Project management skills, ability to prioritize, and experience driving process improvements. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work in time-sensitive situations.
