Accounting Intern

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial and accounting data in MS Excel.
• Prepare and maintain daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports as required.
• Perform data entry and verification of invoices, expenses, receipts and other financial information.
• Assist in bank, ledger and account reconciliations.
• Use Excel to sort, filter, format and analyse financial data.
• Prepare Excel-based summaries, trackers and management reports.

Preferred candidate profile

• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Comfortable using SUM, COUNT, AVERAGE, IF, SUMIF/SUMIFS, COUNTIF/COUNTIFS and basic lookup functions.
• Knowledge of VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, filters and conditional formatting will be an advantage.
• Ability to work with large datasets and maintain accuracy.
• Good understanding of basic Excel formatting and data organisation.
