Accounting Intern (Startup Experience Mandatory)

Role Description The Accounting Intern will support day-to-day finance and accounting activities for Viwidh Foodcraft's operations in Bengaluru. This internship role is on-site and involves assisting with recording and posting journal entries, maintaining organized financial records, and supporting the preparation and review of financial statements. The intern will work with accounting software to update ledgers, reconcile accounts, and help generate basic financial reports for internal review. Responsibilities include supporting cost tracking for outlets, assisting with vendor and invoice management, and collaborating with the founding and operations teams to ensure accurate, timely financial data. This is an internship role designed for individuals with prior startup experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, process-building environment.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in core accounting, including Financial Statements and Journal Entries (Accounting).
• Ability to work with Accounting Software and basic Finance concepts in a business environment.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying discrepancies, and supporting decision-making.
• Prior, hands-on experience in a startup environment, preferably in finance, accounting, or operations.
• Pursuing or having completed a degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Attention to detail, reliability in handling numerical data, and strong organizational skills.
• Comfort working on-site in Bengaluru with cross-functional teams in a dynamic hospitality/F&B setting.
• Proficiency in Excel or similar spreadsheet tools; familiarity with basic GST, invoicing, and bookkeeping is an advantage.
