About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to independently manage day-to-day accounting, statutory
compliance, and reporting for our Mumbai office. Strong practical, hands-on experience in Tally is
mandatory.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain complete books of accounts in Tally, including purchase, sales, payment, receipt, journal, and contra
entries.

Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), reconcile GSTR-2B with the purchase register, and
manage input tax credit.

Calculate and deduct TDS, deposit challans on time, file quarterly TDS returns, and issue Form 16A.
Carry out bank reconciliation and vendor/customer ledger reconciliation, and follow up on outstanding
payables and receivables.

Process vendor payments, expense reimbursements, and petty cash.
Handle month-end and year-end closing, provisions, and preparation of trial balance, P&L, and balance sheet
for finalisation.

Support statutory and internal audits and coordinate with the CA firm and auditors.
Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and expense analysis for management.
Pass payroll-related accounting entries and track statutory payments (PF, ESIC, PT).
Assist with foreign remittance documentation and inter-company transactions with group entities.
Required Skills

Must: Practical, hands-on experience in Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9. A practical Tally assessment may be part of
the selection process.

Sound working knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic Income Tax provisions.
Good command of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas).
Ability to work independently, maintain accuracy, and meet statutory deadlines.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
