Accountant

Role & responsibilities

1. *Accounting Operations*

* Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.

* Maintain books of accounts, journals, vouchers, and supporting records.

2. *Accounts Payable & Receivable*

* Monitor vendor and customer accounts.

* Track outstanding payments and receivables and ensure timely follow-up.

3. *Bank & Ledger Reconciliation*

* Conduct regular bank and ledger reconciliations.

* Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies.

4. *Statutory Compliance*

* Maintain records related to *GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory requirements*.

* Coordinate with the CA for timely compliance and documentation.

5. *MIS & Financial Reporting*

* Prepare accurate and timely MIS and financial reports.

* Provide required financial information to management for decision-making.

6. *Financial Documentation*

* Verify and maintain invoices, bills, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.

* Ensure systematic and confidential record maintenance.

7. *CA & Audit Coordination*

* Coordinate with the Chartered Accountant and auditors.

* Provide required financial data and supporting documents within timelines.

8. *Expense & Payment Management*

* Verify expense claims and supporting documents.

* Process payments in accordance with company policies and approvals.

9. *Accuracy & Internal Controls*

* Maintain high standards of accuracy in accounting and reporting.

* Ensure compliance with established financial procedures and internal controls.

10. *Process Improvement*

* Identify gaps in existing accounting processes.

* Recommend practical improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting.

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidates with practical experience in end-to-end accounting operations.
• Experience coordinating with CAs and handling compliance-related documentation.
• Ability to work inbajadependently while coordinating with management.
• Preference may be given to candidates who can join at the earliest.
