The candidate could have exposure to various accounting topics such as intercompany, treasury, operating expenses, capital expenditures, leasing, and payroll among other topics.

This is a hybrid role based in our Bangalore office. This position requires working during late evening hours from 2 PM to 11 PM (IST), with a 1-hour lunch break included. Are you available to work during these Non-Shift hours

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules in accordance with US GAAP
• Perform monthly PL and Balance Sheet flux analysis
• Support management with company financial activities such as month, quarter and year end close
• Work with external auditors on matters relating to the annual and quarterly financial statement audit
• Identify and partner with finance and other departments on various projects, including development and improvement of manual processes

• Experience: Related Accounting experience in the field.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and a proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ownership and Curiosity: Strong sense of ownership and strong curiosity to learn new things.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify gaps in processes and propose solutions.

You might also have

• Experience and Knowledge: Progressive experience in accounting and/or audit, preferably with public, multinational companies, and a strong background in US GAAP and SOX.
• Professional Certification: Chartered Accountant.
• Technical Skills: Experience with Workday Financials and/or Netsuite, and working knowledge of Excel and BI tools such as Alteryx.
