Accountant

Roles and Responsibilites:

1. 1. Execute all day to day financial operation of Head Office and branches periodically
2. 2. Handle correspondence in the Finance and Administration division
3. 3. Execution of the monthly Accounting settlement
4. 4. Preparation of the quarter, mid year and annual statements of accounts in consultation with the Manager Accounting and Administration
5. 5. Maintains financial records for subsidiary companies by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts
6. 6. Reconciles general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information
7. 7. Monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements
8. 8. Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
9. 9. Preparation of monthly financial reports
10. 10. Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
11. 11. Account/bank reconciliations
12. 12. Invoice creation and distribution when required
13. 13. Assist with Special projects as required

1. 1. Graduate or Post Graduate in commerce with thorough knowledge of Accounting principles
2. 2. Knowledge of the MS-Office, specially in Excel and Local Tax matters
3. 3. Knowledge of Tally ERP9 is must
4. 4. Innovative and ability to perform best at challenging times
5. 5. Must have extraordinary written and verbal communication skills.
