Accountant

Job Summary

Micromitti is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the organization's financial health. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with accounting software, and a solid understanding of Indian accounting standards, GST, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Accounting & Reporting
• Maintain day-to-day accounting functions including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Manage vendor payments, invoices, and expense tracking.
• Handle customer billing, follow-ups, and outstanding collections.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all transactions.
• Taxation & Compliance
• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, and other statutory filings as per regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  
  

Budgeting & Analysis

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Provide financial insights to support management decision-making.
• Monitor cash flows and prepare cash-flow statements when required.
• Systems & Software
• Work with accounting/ERP software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks—modify as applicable).
• Maintain financial databases and support process improvements.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards.
• Proficiency in Tally or similar accounting tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
