Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at Dharmaduta LLP. You will be responsible for maintaining our financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting the financial health of our mission-driven projects. This is a hybrid role based in Dharamsala, offering a mix of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.  

  Key Responsibilities 

• Daily Accounting: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations. 
• Compliance & Taxation: Handle GST filings, TDS returns, and ensure general statutory compliance in collaboration with the Admin team and Chartered Accountant (CA).  
• Payroll Management: Oversee monthly payroll processing and expense reimbursements. 
• Documentation: Maintain organized digital and physical financial records for the firm.  

Required Skills & Qualifications 

• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance. 
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or equivalent. 
• Software: Proficiency in TallyPrime and Microsoft Excel. 
• Tax Knowledge: Solid understanding of Indian taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax). 
• Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills.
