Accountant

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions of the school.
• Maintain cash, bank, purchase, sales, and expense records.
• Handle student fee collection, receipts, and outstanding fee records.
• Verify and process bills, invoices, vouchers, and payments.
• Maintain petty cash and daily cash records.
• Perform bank reconciliation and regular account reconciliation.
• Manage vendor payments and maintain vendor records.
• Prepare monthly reports, MIS, and financial statements as required.
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance related to accounts.
• Assist with salary and payroll-related accounting.
• Coordinate with auditors, vendors, banks, and Head Office accounts team.
• Maintain proper records and documents for audit and accounting purposes.
• Monitor school expenses and ensure proper recording of all transactions.
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting work.
• Perform other accounts-related duties assigned by the management.
