Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial activities. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, receipts, and payment records.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and supporting documents.
• Assist with monthly financial closing and reporting.
• Manage employee-related financial records such as salary and reimbursement entries.
• Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
• Coordinate with auditors for Taxation & GST filing , consultants, banks, and other external stakeholders when required.
• Track expenses and maintain proper documentation.
• Prepare basic financial reports and statements as required by management.
• Ensure timely completion of accounting activities and follow internal financial procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
