Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with hands-on experience in Tally Prime, bank reconciliation, cash management, payment tracking, and day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily bank transactions, cash transactions, and Bank Reconciliation (BRS).
• Maintain accounting records and Receipt, Payment, Contra & Journal vouchers in Tally Prime.
• Track and reconcile candidate/client payments, receivables and outstanding amounts.
• Maintain accurate payment and accounting data in Google Sheets/Excel.
• Verify bank transactions against Tally and internal records.
• Handle payment-related coordination with internal teams.
• Maintain ledgers, supporting documents and financial records accurately.
• Prepare, calculate, and file GST returns and ensure timely GST compliance.
• Calculate TDS, maintain TDS records, prepare and file TDS returns, and ensure timely TDS compliance.
• Assist with PF & Professional Tax (PT) compliance/filings as required.
• Identify discrepancies and ensure timely correction of accounting records.

Required Skills

• 12 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime.
• Good knowledge of Bank Reconciliation (BRS).
• Experience in banking, cash handling, payment tracking and receivables.
• Good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.
• Hands-on knowledge of GST and TDS calculations and filings.
• Knowledge of accounting vouchers and ledger maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of statutory filings will be an added advantage.
• Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail and communication skills.

Compensation:

Final compensation will be decided based on previous/current CTC, relevant experience, skill set and interview performance.
