Job Description

Full-time Accountant for a retail petrol pump, responsible for daily bookkeeping, sales reconciliation, and financial records. Works alongside the Manager. On-site role with accommodation and food provided. Reports directly to the dealer/owner.

Roles & Responsibilities

Maintain daily sales, cash, and bank records; reconcile stock book figures with sales and deposits; prepare and file GST/tax returns as applicable; process staff salaries and vendor payments; maintain petty cash; and immediately flag discrepancies between stock, sales, and cash to the owner.

Key Skills Required

Proficiency in bookkeeping and basic accounting software (Tally); strong numerical accuracy; working knowledge of GST and statutory compliance; honesty and attention to detail; ability to independently flag irregularities rather than defer to the Manager; basic computer literacy.
