Accountant

Role & responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate records in Tally Prime/Tally ERP.
• Handle TA/DA bills, employee travel expenses, reimbursements, and expense claims.
• Verify supporting bills, invoices, receipts, and other documents before processing payments.
• Maintain purchase and sales entries and vendor/customer ledgers.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
• Prepare and maintain expense statements and financial reports.
• Coordinate with management, employees, vendors, and other departments regarding accounts and payments.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Working knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Experience with bank reconciliation and ledger management.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to independently manage day-to-day accounting activities.
