Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, financial records, reconciliations, and statutory compliance. The candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles and hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions, including AP, AR, GL, and bank transactions.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly and annual closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Monitor receivables and payables and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax, statutory, and accounting requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and information.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of financial records.
• Coordinate with finance, procurement, and other departments on accounting-related matters.
• Use SAP/ERP and MS Excel for accounting and reporting activities.
