Accountant (Taxation, GST and Audit)

Job Description

We are looking for sincere and dedicated Accountants to join our office. This role is a strong platform for anyone who wants to build a long term career in accounting, taxation and audit. You will work directly with a practicing Chartered Accountant and handle a wide variety of client assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and carry out day to day bookkeeping for clients
• Pass accounting entries and prepare bank reconciliations in Tally
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and others) and assist in GST reconciliations
• Handle TDS calculation, payment and return filing
• Prepare and file income tax returns for individuals, firms and companies
• Assist in statutory audit, tax audit and internal audit assignments
• Prepare financial statements, schedules and working papers
• Support in notices, assessments and replies on income tax and GST matters
• Coordinate with clients for data collection and documentation
• Assist in ROC and other compliance work as required

Candidate Profile

• B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent. CA Inter, CMA Inter and article assistants are welcome
• Working knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS and Income Tax
• Good communication skills in English, Marathi or Hindi
• Willingness to learn, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines
• Experienced candidates with hands on tax filing and audit exposure are preferred
