Accountant (Strategic ERP)

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Accounting & Transactions:
• Process Accounts Payable (AP) vendor invoices, approvals, and electronic payment runs.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) billing, customer invoicing, collections, and aging reports.
• Record and reconcile daily bank transactions, cash flows, and credit card accounts.
• Month-End & Year-End Close:
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, journal entries, and trial balance reviews.
• Track fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and expense report reimbursements.
• ERP System & Data Management:
• Maintain the Chart of Accounts, cost centers, and financial hierarchies inside the ERP.
• Troubleshoot data errors, support system migrations, and contribute to process automation or ERP upgrades.
• Compliance & Auditing:
• Ensure adherence to GAAP, IFRS, or local statutory/tax regulations (e.g., GST, VAT, income tax compliance).
• Support internal and external audits by pulling transactional logs and audit-ready reports from the ERP.
