Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting, GST/TDS records, bank reconciliation, inventory accounting, and financial reporting. Manufacturing experience and knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Record purchase, sales, receipts, payments, journal entries, and general ledger transactions.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, customer outstanding follow-up, vendor payments, and petty cash.
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements and reconcile customer, supplier, and ledger balances.
• Support GST returns (GSTR-1/GSTR-3B), GSTR-2B reconciliation, TDS, e-invoicing, and e-way bills as applicable.
• Maintain raw material, work-in-progress, and finished goods stock records; reconcile physical and book stock.
• Track production expenses, material consumption, wastage, and assist with product costing and cost sheets.
• Prepare monthly MIS and expense/outstanding reports; support month-end closing and audits.
• Coordinate with purchase, stores, production, sales, banks, auditors, and tax consultants.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification; 2-7 years of accounting experience.
• Practical knowledge of Tally Prime, GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
• Good MS Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, and data reconciliation.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting, bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred; knowledge of costing and stock valuation is an advantage.
• Strong accuracy, integrity, analytical thinking, time management, and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills
ERP/accounting software, fixed asset records, payroll accounting, inventory valuation, and experience supporting internal or statutory audits.
