Job Description
We are hiring experienced and qualified Accountants for a leading construction and logistics company in Mauritius. The ideal candidates should have good accounting knowledge, strong numerical skills, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, books of accounts, and accounting documents.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, receipts, and payment records.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and verify financial transactions.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports.
- Monitor company expenses, budgets, and cash flow.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding accounting and payment matters.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and applicable financial regulations.
- Support audits and provide the required financial documents.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: B.Com, M.Com, BBA (Finance), or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Relevant experience in accounting is preferred.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial documentation.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- Good communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
