Job Description

A reputed company in Mauritius is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join its Accounts Department. The candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, receivables/payables, and maintaining accurate accounting records.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
• Handle budgeting, financial forecasts, and treasury activities.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Prepare and manage MRA tax returns.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register.
• Handle product costing and related accounting activities.
• Strengthen internal controls through ISO procedures.
• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of financial records.

Candidate Requirements

• Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong decision-making and planning abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
