Accountant - GST, TDS and PT Filing - Mira Road

We are looking for an experienced Accountant for our corporate office in Mira Road.

The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of accounting, Tally, GST, TDS and Professional Tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete day-to-day accounting in Tally / TallyPrime
• Maintain sales, purchase, receipt, payment and journal entries
• Handle GST return filing on the applicable monthly/quarterly schedule
• Handle TDS return filing and related compliance
• Handle Professional Tax (PT) filing
• GST and TDS reconciliation
• Bank reconciliation
• Maintain customer and vendor ledgers
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Maintain proper invoices, expense records and supporting documents
• Track statutory filing and payment due dates

Yearly Company Return / Finalisation

The Accountant will be responsible for:

• Keeping the complete books of accounts updated and accurate throughout the year
• Preparing and handing over the full ledger, accounts and required supporting documents to the companys CA
• Coordinating with the CA for yearly account finalisation and statutory filings
• Providing any reconciliation, ledger details or documents requested by the CA

Mandatory Experience

Candidates must have actual hands-on experience with:

• GST filing
• TDS filing
• Professional Tax filing
• Tally / TallyPrime
• Bookkeeping and ledger management
• Bank reconciliation
• MS Excel

Candidates who have only entered accounts in Tally and depended completely on a CA for GST, TDS and PT filing may not be suitable for this position.
