About this role
We are seeking a meticulous and highly organized Accountant to join our finance department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with all accounting regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. ( Busy Software)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure data integrity and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and file various tax forms, including sales tax, income tax, and payroll tax, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and report on variances to management.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Maintain and update accounting records and files, ensuring proper documentation for all transactions.
- Process invoices, track expenses, and manage vendor payments efficiently.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to company policies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Provide detailed financial analysis and reports to management to aid in decision-making.
