Accountant : GST & Accounts

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting activities and GST-related work for our manufacturing company. The person should have practical experience in accounting, GST compliance, reconciliations and documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping.
• Prepare and maintain sales and purchase entries.
• Handle GST compliance and GST-related documentation.
• Assist with GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GST reconciliation.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
• Verify invoices, purchase bills and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with vendors and customers for account-related matters.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants and internal departments.
• Ensure timely and accurate accounting entries.
• Follow up on outstanding receivables and payables when required.
