Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Indian accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Ensure timely filing of TDS returns and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Handle GST return filings, reconciliations, and refund processes.
• Prepare and coordinate Income Tax returns and support statutory audits.
• Oversee compliance with other applicable Indian statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Manage banking compliance, documentation, and data requirements.
• Coordinate with external Chartered Accountants to ensure timely completion of all statutory filings and adherence to compliance deadlines.
• Maintain accurate financial records using Zoho Books; ensure proper bookkeeping and reconciliations.
  

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified CA / CMA or Semi-Qualified CA / CMA with completed articleship (minimum 2–3 years).
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com) from a recognized university.
• 2– 4 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance within the Indian regulatory environment.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience handling finance operations for an export-oriented company (including export documentation, GST refunds, LUT compliance, etc.).
• Strong hands-on experience in Indian taxation, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in managing audits (statutory, tax, internal) and liaising with external auditors and consultants.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho Books (preferred), Tally, or equivalent ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, banking compliance, and regulatory filings.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple deadlines, and sound understanding of compliance timelines under Indian law.
