Accountant- Accounts Receivable

It will be 6-8 months contractual job.

Role & responsibilities

, Finance: Handle creation of fixed assets, regular maintenance of assets, annual physical verification, prepare fixed asset reconciliations and management reports.

• Monitor, maintain and reconcile customer accounts. Identify problem accounts and make recommendations to the manager. Oversee collection specialist.

• Communicate professionally with customers via e-mail or phone to minimize delinquency and help escalate problematic situations to the manager when necessary.

• Perform customer credit assessments, manage credit holds, and process credit limit reviews and releases.

• Perform cash application function on customer receipts. Research and work with customers and Sales to resolve unapplied payments, deductions, and disputes.

• Prepare various Accounts Receivable reconciliations on a periodical basis including sub-ledger / GL recons, bad debts reserve calculation etc.

• Create, update, and maintain vendor master data while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.

• Prepare and reconcile bank accounts, investigate variances, work with the accounting team to ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.

• Support month-end close, reporting, audits, and process improvement initiatives.

• Assist with statutory, group and internal audits as needed
