Accountant- Accounts Payable

It will be 6-8 months contractual job.

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable professional to manage end-to-end AP processes across US, EMEA, and APAC regions. This role requires strong expertise in invoice processing, vendor management, reconciliations, payments, month-end accounting activities, and compliance in a fast-paced, multinational environment, laws and regulations, policies and internal controls.

• Process and validate vendor invoices against purchase orders and goods receipts.
• Perform accurate and timely postings in SAP S/4HANA and process the payments in timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with 2-way and 3-way matching processes.
• Monitor AP aging and ensure timely vendor payments as per contractual terms.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies proactively.
• Handle vendor queries and internal escalations efficiently.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Receiving teams for GR/IR reconciliation.
• Perform monthly and quarterly Accounts Payable reconciliations and reporting, while supporting month-end and year-end close activities, including the preparation and review of accruals, AP GL reconciliations.
• Ensure adherence to SOX controls and audit requirements.
• Support statutory compliance such as TDS, GST, VAT, and US 1099 reporting.
• Maintain complete audit documentation and support audit requests.
• Identity and drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Provide timely updates and reports on vendor accounts.
